Castles in the sky

Saturday morning and me and Frida just finished watching "Skavland" from last night. Its no practise today and my body needs to relax. Forgot how hard it is to have two practise each day but I like it, like it to much I gues. I had many people telling me yesterday that I have to take it easy and not go to hard. I do understand that it could be really bad for me if I puched it to much but I wanne think that I have a good realtionship with my body and will feel when I am puching it to hard, well I hope. Even thouth I havent been the best person to lissten to my body in my past, but I hope I learnt from my misstakes. Patience is the the key in anything you do, and I need to work on that alot. Have patience and to let go, is so hard.

After my last practise yesterday my teacher told me I have an amazing practise, and that I must had maintained a good practise back home. I got so happy and reed in the face. When I startet yoga I did it coz I feelt so bad at it and it made me strong, flexible and light, coz I was all of the opposite. I been thinking of my yoga journey and its really been a crazy ride never thought I would come this far. Its been so many feeling I had to deal with and understanding why I act like I do or feel like I do. If you have a control over your body like a yogi you will also have the control over your mind. It makes more sens the more you practise. Its a great feeling to know Yoga always will be with me, its something I see myself doing when I am 70 and old.

Me, Vlad and Frida was watching a surf movie called "Castle in the sky" the other night. The movie had unbelible pictures from all over the world, Icland, india, peru ext.. and the soundtrack had some really good songs. Our roomi Vlad is a surfer from Australia. Surfinga and yoga gives the same effects, your so much in the moment and in a feeling. Its hard to explain for people that never expeiance it, but some how it makes you feel free... Wish I knew how to surf when I saw the movie. To learn how to surf must be hard work, and the same with yoga its not always easy and even painfull sometuimes, but its wroth in the end. It makes you free, strong and balanced.

A clean body, a clean mind!

Its a normal Wednesday here in Mysore and I got this feeling that were I am at this moment is so "RIGHT" for me. I am not suppose to be anywhere els. Spending time with awesome friends, and enjoying every moment in my yoga challange. Everyday I go out of my comfort zoon and I feel I am growning as a person along with my friends. It is funny how Yoga dose calm you mind so much, it makse you question all this stupid thoughts and trubbles you make inside of your head, that is pointless. A clean body, a clean mind.

Went back to my Backbending teacher Vinay Kumar this afternoon and I had a great practise. Last time I had three month with him and he looked happy to have me back in class.I am thrilled to start this journey with Vinay again and see were the futur will take me. Last time he made me do stuff I never thought I would be able to accomplish in this life time, but he is a brilliant teacher, lucky I found him aswell.

Time for tea then beed, up bright and early for morning practise! Good night friends and family!

Todays words from my teacher, "suffer more you understand better" and what he told me in class today, " your body might look strong but nothing is there inside" some days are harder then others! But at least Its Friday and Its no practise tomorrow, need à break!

Tiryanmukha uttanasana


Today was a good day. I made this pose, Tiryanmukha uttanasana. From stading and going back. A Jay adjusted me then let me go and I had the balance and the strenght in my leggs. Got so happy when I got back up, with a big smile on my face I feelt like "High five" or punch him in the stomach, like I use to do in training when I get really happy, but with a bit control I, dident do it thankfully.

One week has past...

One week has past, and I feel like I am in the flow here in Mysore again. It feels so good to be back and my practise is on track again, have new goals and I am getting stronger and stronger everyday. Well also more and more stiff everyday but I gues my body is a bit of a shock right now. The practise is quite intence and I havent been doing this much at home even thou I tryed to keep it up. It was good with two days of rest, saturday and sunday, as it was Full moon on sunday. But on monday I start morning class, and I think that will be so much better. Might let my body adjust a bit more then I go for Vineys afternoon classes aswell, but we will se. Dont want to over do it, but I think my body can cope with it.   
 
After friday class we had a movie night a the shala. Deepak made food and we saw a movie, it was called "Black", a hindu movie. It was a good storry, a bit diffrent to the kind of movies they make and play in europe and the west, but it had a good and interesting storry.

Frida, my friend from back home came on Sunday morning, and me and Bente took her to Gukkulam and Santosha for brekfast. After that we walk around Mysore lake. There we had one of the gards following ous coz they told ous we had to be carefull coz of the crocodiles. They told ous the lakes had about seven wild ones . But it was safe for ous to walk there coz they eat only cows and buffalos, but anyways we had to walk slow. Feelt really safe with a tiny little Indian man on a bike next to ous, I bet he would have saved ous if a wild crocodil would have attaced.

In the afternoon we had " A Sweet get-toghter" at our hous. Many friend came over and brought all kinds of sweets. I good day with good friends, and many interesting talks!
